Hello Out There!
This is my first blog, at least in this incarnation. I'm here at the behest of some friends and I thought why not? A few years ago I kept up a semi-regular blog at LiveJournal, as well as Yahoo's 360. But security issues and frequent hiccups put me off blogging for a long time.
I've named my blog RUMORS, after my Second Life character Rumor. I used to be in-world daily for months, but the site had problems and kept crashing so often that I stopped going in so often. I'm partnered to the sweetest Neko in SL. Could not ask for a better friend or companion. Despite long bouts away from SL we still stay in touch and meet up in other rpg or gaming sites.
As for my personality, likes or dislikes, I'm a private person with a few awesome, quality friends rather than a ton of quantity friends. I truly believe less is more, but I know that is not the case for everyone.
Much like my pic, I'm a faded jeans and scuffed boots kind of gal. Nothing beats a soft, well worn tank or Henley long sleeved T. I hate scratchy, itchy anythings! lol Give me comfort all the way.
I enjoy soft, light jazz or sensual R&B, I love tea, rarely drink coffee, drink very little alcohol, and prefer home cooked meals to restaurant fare.
As mentioned before, I love my games, gaming sites, game consoles and videos. I'm a HUGE anime freak! Devil May Cry, Trinity Blood, Burst Angel, Shikabane Hime, Death Note, to mention only a few. I view very little network tv, but what I do like are shows like Haven, Supernatural, Castle, Hawaii Five-0.
Reading is a past time that I wish I had more time to indulge in. I like a good story, a solid storyline, well rounded, well developed characters. I'm not as particular to genre as I am to quality stories told well. I'm selfish with my free time and don't want to waste it. I see it as none of us are getting any younger, so we ought to enjoy our relaxation with things we enjoy.
Well, that is enough of me for now, I think. I'm looking forward to meeting others and making friends.
